Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Test Automation Architect with advanced expertise in the Tricentis TOSCA platform to support a dedicated TOSCA Test Automation initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, maintainable, and reliable test automation framework aligned with enterprise quality objectives. This role will establish automation standards across test design, development, TOSCA tooling, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

The QA Test Automation Architect will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA testers, helping them develop strong test automation skills, effective test scripts, and sound architectural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA.
2. Define enterprise standards and best practices for test automation architecture, test design, and script development.
3. Lead automation strategy across multiple application and testing layers.
4. Integrate automated testing solutions with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
5. Develop and maintain automated test cases using TOSCA.
6. Evaluate existing automation solutions and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and increased test coverage.
7. Establish standards for reusable components, test data, execution strategies, and automation maintenance.
8. Collaborate with QA teams, developers, business analysts, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure effective test coverage.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and testing issues.
10. Ensure automation solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organizational quality goals.
11. Mentor and guide junior QA testers in: Test script development, TOSCA automation techniques, Test design, Automation best practices, Framework architecture
12. Provide technical guidance and conduct code/script reviews.
13. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.

Required Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in software testing/Quality Assurance.
2. 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
3. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA.
4. 3+ years of experience designing test automation solutions/architectures.
5. Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, architecture, and best practices.
6. Experience designing reusable and maintainable automated testing solutions.
7. Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
8. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to QA team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with the broader Tricentis suite.
2. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
3. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools.
4. Experience designing enterprise-scale test automation frameworks.
5. Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.

As VP Technology and Transformation, you will own technical strategy, platform architecture, and delivery quality across all current and future products. You will also guide the creation of an internal developer platform that boosts velocity for engineering, QA, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Product and Platform Leadership

• Own the technical roadmap and architecture for all SaaS products
• Guide system design decisions, build versus buy, and cloud cost optimisation
• Ensure secure, reliable, high performing services for every customer tenant

AI, ML, and DL Execution

• Design, train, and deploy custom models, including fine tuned large language models and deep learning
  pipelines
• Build and operate MLOps and LLMOps workflows for versioning, evaluation, and automated retraining
• Identify when to replace commercial APIs with first party model IP for competitive advantage

Platform Engineering and Tooling

• Establish an internal developer platform with self service continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
• Introduce AI driven productivity tools for code generation, test creation, and incident triage
• Measure and improve lead time, deployment frequency, and change fail rate

Engineering Delivery and Quality

• Promote test driven development, trunk based flow, and data informed decision making
• Drive cross functional collaboration among engineering, QA, DevOps, and product management
• Set clear, transparent metrics that align team goals with business outcomes

Security, Compliance, and Governance

• Lead SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regional privacy programs
• Embed privacy by design and model governance practices into every pipeline
• Implement defences for prompt injection, data leakage, and adversarial attacks

Innovation and Emerging Tech

• Run proof of concept sprints on edge inference, agent frameworks, and vector search
• Translate research breakthroughs into customer value and new revenue streams

Leadership and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Grow and mentor high performing distributed teams
• Present complex technical topics to executive, investor, and client audiences
• Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience (Tier 1)

• Twelve or more years in software engineering with at least five in senior leadership
• Demonstrated delivery of proprietary AI or deep learning models in production
• Hands on ownership of data pipelines, feature stores, and automated model lifecycle
• Proven design of secure, multi tenant SaaS on Azure or comparable cloud
• Practical success building internal developer or platform engineering capabilities
• Led or passed enterprise security audits, privacy reviews, and compliance programs
• Track record of driving DevOps or agile change with measurable gains in velocity and quality
• Regular engagement with enterprise customers on product vision and roadmaps
  

Preferred Experience (Tier 2)

• Recognition as Microsoft MVP or similar community leadership
• Creation of joint research or co innovation partnerships with cloud vendors or universities
